There was quite the party scene on this island every night. They had massive fire shows spinning flaming batons and koy. They even got all the tourists involved with fire jump roping, limbo and circle jump. It was entertaining to watch and a thrill to participate.
This island was I think the worst hit by the 2004 tsunami. A lot of it was still rebuilding. This place by far has had the most tourists living in one area.
We went cliff diving and swam at night watching the plankton glow. Reminds me of, "Life of Pi".
