Castle of Good Hope (Cape Town, South Africa)

The Dutch castle Is the oldest colonial structures in South Africa. lt dates back to 1666 when they first started construction, but then was never used in combat. They designed it to withstand the strong cape/sea winds. It once was built only yards away from the ocean until Dutch engineers found a way to push back the waters more than a couple miles.
