Koh Samui, Thailand

We caught a flight down to Suratthani. Apparently it rained incredibly hard earlier in the day and flooded the city about thigh high. There was water everywhere. Luckily we got there in the afternoon when most of the water subsided. Even the bus we took a ride in to the dock had water everywhere inside and was dripping water. We drove for about 1 1/2 hours to the dock. Our bus kept bottoming out while driving. We then caught a ferry to Koh Samui. The islands are a sight to see. Large rock formations covered in greens erecting from the waters.

Our driver from the dock to hotel could not find where we needed to go and was getting frustrated. He was going 100km in a 30 zone and he kept sniffing something he had stored on his dash, so we finally just told him to stop and drop us off. Luckily for us we were approached by a npn- English speaking Argentina woman who we negotiated a room with for 350 baht (about $12). Happened to be right across from the beach in a back alley next to a few shops.

We walked along the beach until it ended, then ventured through a small jungle until we saw the beach again.

That night we got much needed massages. It's a little fun negotiating here especially if you get the price down past where you want it.

These Thai women definitely wreck your body. Sometimes feels good, sometimes just hurts. They walk on your body while using their heals to kneed your calves, back and thighs
