Krabi, Thailand

It took us about six hours split between bus and ferry to get to out next destination, Krabi. It's located directly west of Koh Samui. It's a small town with less tourists than Koh Sanyo, but still has a similar feel. The people are friendly and helpful if you ask for directions or something.

They have a cool night market here where everything is so cheap and the food is always good. You can eat an entire meal and walk by another vendor, smell their food and be hungry again. It's that good.

Our Thanksgiving consisted of eating pizza and burgers. Not too bad for not having turkey and gravy. It's not hard to find American food out here if that's what you're after. The popular places hippy find in America are many 7-11's, McDonald's, Subway, and KFC.

One of the beaches we stayed on wad accessible only by long boat. And to conserve energy our resort would shut off power from 6am-6pm, which is fine since we never spend anytime there. Some places have really cold showers while others are semi warm.
